Why “Funky”?
Funky means these letters sound like me.
The name comes from Mr. Funky Teacher and the way I have tried to live and teach: be yourself, do things in your own way, treat people right, keep growing, and bring some personality to the journey. These are stories, mistakes, faith, humor, hard lessons, encouragement, and love — things I want my kids to be able to hear in my voice someday.
